ChiMERA PLUS: ChiMERA for urban sustainability
The cultural and creative industries are highly innovative SMEs. For the regions participating in the project, these industries can play an important role in the transition to the EU Green Deal and urban sustainability. The ChiMERA PLUS project aims to transfer the ChiMERA process and methodology for the growth of regional cultural and creative industries in terms of promotion and their participation in the sustainable development of the urban environment. The process focuses on a regional analysis of the cultural and creative sector, regional working groups involving key stakeholders and a lead (frontrunner) analysis. ChiMERA is based on a mentoring and capacity building process, where the lead partners adapt the ChiMERA methodology to the needs of the recipient partners and support the recipient partners in the implementation of the ChiMERA process until the development of strategic action plans for their specific needs.
The proposal aims to use the process and methodological tools tested under the ChIMERA project to develop the cultural and creative industries sub-sectors in the context of the EU Green Deal and in line with the New European Bauhaus initiative.
